Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Just have your NursingCAS application ready to go that way once you get accepted to TWU you can just click submit on your NursingCAS app. If you haven't done a NursingCAS application before definitely start on it now, it takes some time because they make you enter in every single class and grade from all of your transcripts. You also have to send official transcripts to NursingCAS directly so I suggest getting it all knocked out while you're waiting to hear back!

I have a question. So if I sent NursingCAS my transcripts for UTMB, do I have to send them again? Even though they should have it in their system?

From what I understand, no. Per NursingCAS FAQ it says if you are a reapplicant it carries over data and transcripts from your previous NursingCAS application!
*edit to add when I logged in and added new applications for the 2020 school year all of my transcript data was there, so I assuming transcripts don't need to be resent. May be worth reaching out to them though to confirm!

You can attach it to most electronic requests. If the school you are requesting your transcript from doesn't offer electronic transcripts or does not have an option to attach it to your request, you need to call your schools registrar and ask for an email address to send it to. Your school is who has to include that attachment with the transcript.

Did you check all the boxes? or the information you typed in might not follow the instruction (like the password)?
I am trying to apply to Dallas for Spring of 2020. I am currently trying to decide between the Houston or Dallas campus. I am a transfer student so I do not have preference. The admission score I calculated is a 49.67. Does anyone know where I would have a better chance at getting in at?
Teas Score: 87
Nursing prerequisite GPA: 4.0
Prerequisite GPA: 3.85

I believe you would have a better chance at the Houston campus . From what I’ve read a majority of the people that apply to the Dallas campus are people with preference so usually they have a high points total. If you go back to previous threads they have posted the lowest and highest points accepted for the Houston and Dallas campuses for those semesters. That may also help you decide.

Hello!! I think in previous forums I’ve seen scores as low as 39 get in but I feel like every year is more and more competitive so I would say the range your guessing is pretty good. But who knows what this year will bring.
