Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!
I would say retake it. If your cumulative points is less than 45.3 (for Houston campus). The Dallas campus is WAY more competitive. If i’m not wrong I think the students there apply with at least 53 cumulative points.
This is actually my second time applying to this program because I did not get accepted in spring and I had an 83% on the teas and like a 3.68 science gpa. I also believe the spring is more competitive than the fall, so you might want to shoot for at least an 87% on the teas.
I honesty do not think so because the deadline is until the 15. Usually you get your scores right after you are done taking the exam. Just make sure you send them right away. Last time I didn’t get accepted took it I took it on the 7th of August actually and they still got my scores on time.

The first link explains the steps for you to do the calculating , and the second is where you actually do the calculating.

No problem, and good luck!
Yes I will apply to uthealth as well, however I’m not really getting my hopes un for that school, because nobody really knows what they go based on to accept their students. I took the HESI already just in case and got a 90%. That way I can at least give it a shot.

I'd retake it because you would still have enough time to review and apply with a better chance of getting in but if you feel confident then its up to you
