TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

For those that have taken the TEAS already: how long did it take before you saw your score report in your ATI student account?

You take a 5 question survey, and then your scores immediately pop up.

Thank you! The reason I'm asking is because I'm reading that it can take 72 hours for the report to populate in your account. I'll be out of town a lot for the next month and am trying to schedule my test for August 13th. I know you said it's there immediately, but based off what I read, I still can't help but be a little worried that my report won't be up in time for me to upload it to NursingCAS.

So, I was able to see my scores immediately, and when I walked out of the building I was immediately able to pull them from the ATI website on my phone. Also, I just read the TEAS guide on the TWU website and you can take it all the way up to the day of application deadline. Like you can take it on August 15th for a spring application according to TWUs website.

Sure did. I am going to call up to CAS on Monday morning and try to sort things out. I was just asking around to see if anyone else was having this problem.

Hey Everyone!

I just applied to TWU (the actual school, not through NCAS). Can anyone give me a heads up on how long it took before you knew if you were accepted into the school? The deadline for CAS is coming up quickly, and even though mine is almost done, the last several questions require a TWU ID number.

I took mine a solid 3 weeks to process through. If you have all of your stuff in right when you submit your application to the school you should be fine. My acceptance was cleared via email and web advisor about a week before I got my official email and mail acceptance. That being said any email that you get from them about your application fill it all out and monitor it online as it updates there first.

Hello! So on the NursingCAS website it says "Your NursingCAS application must be verified by the August 15, 2019 application deadline in order to be eligible for consideration." Im scheduled to take TEAS on Aug. 9th..considering TEAS scores are received immediately..it means we have time and everything should be okay. BUT if you look further.. the NursingCAS website also says "Once all of your required application materials are received, your application's status changes to Complete and your application is placed in line to be verified. Verifications occur in chronological order and on average take two weeks to complete. Once your application is verified, you will receive a notification and your application's status will change to Verified. " ..I was worried about not having enough time to submit Application AND it being verified..I was thinking of changing my TEAS Testing date to an earlier date;/. Im not sure if im looking to deep into it...haha im just worried.

You're digging too deep ? As long as ALL of your required documents are submitted to NursingCAS by August 15 you should be fine! At least that's how it was when I submitted my NursingCAS app for UTMB.

hey guys, so I just found out that I got a 70% on my teas and I haven’t been in the best mood lately, the thing is I don’t want to retake before aug 15, bcos I really want to study hard and not just cram everything in a few weeks. Do you think I should still apply?

I made the same on the Teas as well.
