TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Definitely confirm with TWU, but I believe the women's multicultural course is an exception to the "has to be done before starting the nursing program" rule because it is only offered at TWU and no other school. I was Texas Core Complete from my previous bachelor's but if I remember correctly I was told that was the only class that could be taken after acceptance if you needed to take it

Hi I got acceptance for Dallas campus and accepted the offer on Oct 27. But I just found I got a letter to remind me accept the offer before Nov 8. That letter was sent to my twu email which I didn't check quite often. I am now in PANIC --- does TWU get my confirmation or not?

Did you receive the letter of reminder? I hope it's just a letter sent to everyone who got acceptance letter.

Yeah, I got that email too and I filled out the acceptance form on the 27th as well. However, yesterday, a lady from TWU called me and said they couldn't find my acceptance form for some reason. I told her my last name and she said she misplaced it somehow.

Oh yeah, that's my bad for forgetting to mention it. She found my form like 10 seconds later and apologized for calling me 3 times after I told her that I got the confirmation email.

Hi Brandon, I was accepted into the Houston campus as well. Could you please tell me who you spoke to? I am in the same boat. I am trying to figure out if they received my acceptance form. I called TWU and they said the advisor will be back on Tuesday. However, I feel like this would be an admissions question not advising. Any help is appreciated ?

@RubyT did you get a confirmation email from Google Forms? I would try reaching out to Derrick who has been emailing all of the acceptance correspondence (your initial acceptance email, reminders to accept/deny) he could probably help!

Unfortunately, I can't remember the lady's name, but I do have the number she called me from, which is 713-794-2102. But to be honest, as long as you have the confirmation email on your student email, you should be fine.
