Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

I saw you were 1st offered a spot at Houston, did you reject the offer & were then offered a spot at Dallas? I was also offered a spot at Houston but rejected the offer bc it’s too expensive ?
It's so interesting that they offer spots at the campus you didn't apply to this year. I think it is great, because if you are one of the highest scoring applicants it makes sense that they give you a chance at a different location. I just remember they made a big deal about not being able to "switch" school's after applying, but I do think this is a great change in addition to them only allowing applicants to take the TEAS twice. You will do great no matter where you attend, congrats!!

That’s so crazy!! I declined the offer to Houston yesterday, it was disappointing but I would die of happiness if I was offered a spot at Dallas! What was your admission score?

I’m just curious. Why do you feel that the Dallas campus is superior to the Houston campus?

I don't think it's that they feel it is superior, they originally applied to Dallas and were denied so if they get of the waitlist they would probably be happier because they likely live closer to that campus! They are the same top ranked program ?

I know Kelsey Seybold offers Heplisav-B that's what I got but I'm sure they offer the traditional Hep B vaccine. When did you last get a Hep B shot? They are correct if you started one series then you cannot switch. But if you got the Hep B shot years ago and your titers came back negative then you should be able to just go with Heplisav-B
Not sure about the Dallas page but Houston is TWU Houston Nursing Class of December 2021
