TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

I heard they had already sent out the acceptances. Not sure if they are doing it in waves. When I applied last year I didn't receive anything, I found out once the status changed on my profile. UT just confuses me because I have no idea what they want or what they look for.

At this point I'm not interested in going to UT, it was just a back up plan incase I didn't get in to TWU!

Same here! I regret paying the app fee. I was too excited for nursing that I wanted as many opportunities as possible, but as a single mom of 3 I know I would drown with it all.

I really hope you get into TWU!!!! Do you have any other pending apps?

Hi Lois,

Yes that was very painful - decision I had to make after a lot of tears ? esp since we all know how hard it is to get in!

My uniform is an XS, which is probably the equivalent of like a medium because they run so big! Here is a picture of me wearing it so you can see how large it is.

Having options is the best thing when applying to schools! I hope I do too, my score is a 50.5 for Houston so I am hoping and praying since it is my first choice! I hope you get in too ?

I only applied to TWU, UT and UH as I was trying to stay within the med center since I live here and don't want to drive! I didn't get in to UH so just waiting to hear from TWU and UT!

Yes. I am interested! As long as I am accepted.....we are all still waiting.
I am 4’11 so XS should be perfect.

When I was denied last year, yes it took awhile but they changed the status. They began sending all the accepted and waitlist and the denied found out later.

Hey everyone -

I caved in and called admissions in Denton. They confirmed decisions will not go out until the tail-end of next week, if not the first part of the following, so 10/31 - 11/8.

I just wanted to share the info because I know we're all waiting on pins and needles! Looks like we'll need to wait a bit more. Good luck to you all!

Oh awesome and I'm around the same height so the pants are already altered as well! ? So they should fit you just right! Good luck to you! I hope you get in ?
