  1. Hi, I interviewed for MC Alliance last week and was offered a residency starting 7/25. I applied for the operating room and got it! It's a 6 months residency followed by a two-year contract. If you break the contract you have to pay the hospital a few thousand, so that is something to consider.
  2. Those of you who didn’t get in… FYI tarrant county has a RN-BSN agreement with a few universities. Cost is cheap and you’ll be getting your BSN while getting your ADN. I was denied from UTA and TWU with a 3.6 GPA and an 87 TEAS score. I started tarrant county’s ADN program concurrently with MSU (all online) in fall 2020. I’ll graduate in May with my ADN and then graduate in August with my BSN! Totally worth it! Don’t get discouraged that UTA didn’t accept you! I’m so thankful I was rejected bc I found this program instead!
  3. I am currently in nursing school and have dreams of being an aesthetic nurse. Sooo in Dallas "The National Laser Institute" in Dallas has courses on many aesthetic procedures. Once I graduate in May '22 I plan on taking their botox/filler course. I have lip filler so anytime I get a touch up I always ask the nurse "how did you get where you are?" I live in the DFW area so they say they went to NLI then applied at all spas until one hired them. The spas with train you further on the techniques they prefer. Also if you are able or can afford a pay cut, apply to any spa to work their desk, do their stocking anything really. I believe there is also a program in Irving that does training but I am not too familiar with them. https://nlimedspa.com/
  4. Hi, guys! Congratulations on getting into the NP Program. I am hoping someone can give me some advice. I am in TCC and MSU concurrently so I will have my ADN next May and my BSN next August. Can someone advise me on the best steps to get into the NP Program the quickest and what were your credentials?
  5. I just got a declined letter for the night and weekend program. Good luck to you guys, I hope everyone gets accepted! ??
  6. Thank you for getting in touch with someone!
  7. Girl, I have checked my spam, my deleted, every folder possible, every email account I have. LOL Same here! Part of me is worried that I have some how been looked over and forgotten about. I don’t know if it’s possible but I’m definitely worried!
  8. I still haven’t received anything! ? I applied to the nights & weekend program! I keep checking my email and I even checked my email saying that I was eligible to make sure I’m not crazy! I’m getting very frustrated, anxious and worried!
  9. I’m on the wait list as well. I wish the TEAS was more that just pass/fail. I need a boost! points: 6.6 TEAS: 87.3 Up to date on all vaccines and have Hep B titer as well. I had my finger prints done about 2 weeks ago and am currently waiting on my background check.
  10. I am so over this wait! I’m most likely going to be declined. However, the longer I wait the more my hope grows to just have a bigger let down I’m sure. ?? 3.45 science GPA 87.3 TEAS 39.5 Admissions score
  11. @kka081216 Do you mind telling us you what your points are?
  12. Do they accept Pharm & Patho from DCCCD? I know UTA will.
  13. OK guys, so we all know that the HESI has been cancelled at the campus. My question is does anyone know where to take it? I've looked on the Prometrix website but I can't find the HESI when I search their tests.
  14. @ENP2019 You give me hope! I still haven't heard anything. My GPA is 3.4 and TEAS score of 87.3 my overall points is a 39.5. I pray someone turns down their seat for another college and allows room for me! ?
