TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Updated:   Published

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Your application does NOT have to be verified by August 15, it just needs to be SUBMITTED with all your transcripts received by the deadline date.

God bless you Blonde. I feel a little relieved now. Also, in entering the nursing courses like A&P, Chem, and nutrition, is Elementary statistics going to be under nursing subjects or mathematics?

Thanks Brandon. How do I send my teas score to NursingCAS? This is my first time of doing this.

You have to upload your score report and send your TEA transcript to TWU via ATI TEAS website. It costs $27. The score report is a PDF that you download and upload to NursingCAS. But like I said, you would need to wait until you retake the TEAS to send your newest score.

@PrinceG Brandon is correct on how to upload but I emailed TWU and they said you do not need to send them the scores you just need to upload them to NursingCAS.

You do not have to pay to send it to TWU. Uploading it to NursingCAS is all you need to do according to the TWU website just fyi!

Hmm really? I read something different for transfer students. Here's what I read: https://twu.edu/media/documents/nursing/TWU-CON_TEAS_Information-Sheet.pdf

Number 13 reads this, "If a student tests outside of TWU College of Nursing, they will be required to purchase a TEAS transcript of their test date through the ATI website and indicate TX Woman U Denton as their institution in the request".

I noticed that, but my advisor at the Houston campus also confirmed it just needed to be uploaded in NursingCAS!

I wasn't sure so that's why I reached out to ask. I think it's worth anyone who isn't sure to just send a quick email to confirm!
