TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

So you should retake it. TEAS taken from August 2018 to August 2019 will be considered.

I would think your transcripts would still at least say Feb but yes TWU will not accept scores on tne TEAS that are older than a year unfortunately ? I've never called NursingCAS personally, just emailed but they were helpful via email too!

Yes, I just received that confirmation. What book did you guys study? I will retake it for 8/8. I would appreciate any recommendations.

Ive been using Mometrix ATI TEAS Secrets, I got it from amazon!

Does anyone have any study tips for A&P 2? This is my last class I’m completing and the cardiovascular system, lymphatic, and urinary are confusing me

I watched Crash A&P course on Youtube. It helped me a lot.

How long does it take it get your transcript verified on NursingCAS

When I applied to UTMB i believe it took a week or two

It took NursingCAS two days after they received my transcripts to verify them

So I went ahead and signed up to retake the test 8/8/19. I hope I pass. I got the Mometrix book you guys told me about. I hope these 8 days are enough to get me to retain enough info. I feel that TEAS is much harder and detailed. At least I am done taking classes right now.

@beabop Hi! I am also applying for UTHealth. Do they need any written essays when we apply?

Does anyone know what the different statuses of the NursingCAS application are? My application says Complete but my transcript says Arrived. What's the final status for my application and the transcript? Is it supposed to say Verified for both? Or complete for both?
