TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Never hurts! I just saw that I got my general acceptance too! TWU is already giving me more hope than I ever felt from UT ?

Ok guys, I'm in summer classes til August 3rd. Do I wait till then to send my transcripts? That doesn't feel like enough time. Also, are y'all messaging your schools with the transcript matching form NursingCAS provided?

I had to email the form to my school's registar when I requested transcripts and they handled the rest.

did you do the order through email or did you do it online and then send the email?

If you have any other transcripts I would send them now while you're waiting. Talk to your professor now and ask them to put your grade in ASAP so you can send your transcript the following Monday. I too am taking a course that goes to August 3rd so I havea plan in place to send that last final transcript on Monday August 5th

The second one. I used my school's "Request a Transcript" function then I emailed the form as an attachment to my school's registar.

Hey, I just checked and if you're applying from TWU they have an option to send transcripts after summer classes. you can choose to send them now or send them after summer!

You can wait to send them once your class has posted official grades, or you can send a copy of what you already have now and send another one once the summer grades are in. I think they just need it by Sept 1.

My schools asked for the barcode number on the forms so I didn't have to give them the actual form.

do we have to wait a month in between teas tests? or are we just limited to two atempts?

Yes my advisor did tell me if you had a summer course in progress they actually allow a few weeks after the deadline to receive that transcript. But if class ends August 3rd you should have plenty of time to send it by the deadline.

Hi everyone! I was trying to read most of the posts on here but gave up lol. I saw someone had a question regarding sending transcripts as well as TEAS scores. You can have the transcripts electronically sent to NursingCAS without that request form. For the TEAS scores, the advisor told me to just upload the individual score report that you can download from the ATI website to the "Documents" section.

My stats from the advising sheet:

Nursing Core GPA: 3.64

Prereq GPA: 3.68

TEAS: 92.7% Composite - Reading (89.4%), Math (100%), Science (91.5%), English (87.5%)

Admission Score: 58.27 (No TWU pref but with prior bachelor's degree)

Just submitted my nursingcas app and anxious to hear from schools! good luck everyone and I'm excited to start posting here!
