Hello everyone,

Are you applying to Houston, Dallas traditional, or Dallas N&W? I am applying to TWU Dallas traditional in August for Spring 2021. Right now I am finishing up some nursing core classes and I plan on taking the TEAS over the Summer if corona virus allows it. I also have TWU preference points that helped my admission score a lot.

What is your admission score? As of Spring 2020 admissions, to calculate your admission score, you can use the Google spread sheet. Download the file to put in your classes and grades.

My advisor said that the competitive range is between 50 and 55 for Dallas traditional.

Yes, you have to input every single class as it shows on your transcripts and also pay to request that each official Transcript is sent to TWU and nursingcas

There is a service called Professional Transcript Entry Service that is offered through NursingCAS in having a specialist enter in all of your transcript grades for you for an additional fee, if you prefer to not have to enter all of the coursework yourself.

UPDATE: HBU testing finally replied to one of my many emails, they will be testing in person for HESI and TEAS just at a lower capacity.

Hey everyone! I am applying for Spring 2021 as well. Right now I have 58.87 points. Does anyone know if this is okay for Dallas? I am retaking my TEAS later this Summer because I did not do as well as I wanted. Just wanted to see where others were at because I don't know if I have a shot at Dallas or if I should just apply to Houston. Thanks! ?

Hey, do yall know how fast you get the TEAS score? I'm trying to decide what days I should schedule my test.. I know I'm going to want to take it twice

You get in like 1 second. So, after when you are done with your test, it shows your score. You then can access them on ATI website.

You also may want to send them at the testing site.

Hi guys I am applying to TWU for Spring 2021 , I am currently a student at UT Tyler and will be taking Patho during the Fall.

Hey guys I'm applying to the Houston Campus for Spring 2021 and I was just wondering if an 82 on the TEAS is a good score for the program. I plan on retaking the test in month. If I don't get a score around an 87 would I still be fine or is it kind of risky?

What is your GPA? If you have a strong GPA and a bachelors degree. That will be enough to get you through for Houston

If I get all As in my Summer classes it would be a 3.5. I'm applying for the traditional BSN program.

Be sure to use the GPA Worksheet. It's on the TWU BSN website but typically scores above the low 40s are competitive for Houston. Be sure to input all your courses and all 4 sections for the TEAS for it to populate correctly. You do get an advantage if you have a Bachelor's degree already.

For the TEAS report can we submit the pdf 3 page free report or do we have to submit the one you have to purchase and send to the school?
