TWU Spring 2013 Applicants!

I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?

After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.

So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!

Hi everyone...i just want to let everyone know to NOT give up!! have super di duper faith in yourself! i didnt get "the email" but did call and they said i was 11th on the waiting list!! i asked how likely it was for me to get in with that number and of course i got the "it depends" response! but thats better than anything...so PLEASE keep checking those emails! Does anyone know how the waiting list works???

did they tell you how the wait list works? i found out that im #11 on the waitlist! :D i really hope we get in. i think we have a really good chance!

As people decline their acceptances, they offer their spot to people on the wait list, starting at the top pf the list. So basically 11 people have to decline their spot for you to get in. Did you apply to Dallas or Houston?

So are saying they will only take one or the other?
No,these are the 2 classes they require you to take at TWU.

How did you all get a number as to where you were on the wait list? I was just told that I was high up on the wait list but that more people than normal would have to decline for me to get in. Needless to say I will take my spot at one of the other programs I got into!

I just asked. She told me I was high up on the wait list so I asked exactly what number I was and she told me. What campus did you apply to? If Dallas, then you can email [email protected] and she'll tell you. She's the admissions coordinator.

"The average GPA of those who made it in was 3.82 and the average TEAS was 82. You'd have to shoot for higher than that next semester."I got some feedback from the dallas coordinator.

Michael, I am in the middle of creating FB for Houston as "TWU Houston College of Nursing 2014". Would you like to help me edit the page? I am not so good at it though. I will try to complete it as much as I can.
