twu spring 2012 applicants!

Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed :uhoh3:

Hopefully we will find out next week!:yeah:

Ehh yeah :/ but at least you applied to more than just TWU, because otherwise you'd be completely out this semester. I don't think you have anything to worry about. ^_^ although of course it's still nerve-racking until you get the letter... this process takes wayyyy too dang long. I mean, 2 years of a pre-reqs? We don't wanna wait 3 months to know if it was worth it! lol

Ok for spring 2011 everyone found out 10/20 and for spring 2010 everyone found out 11/3. Crossing my fingers to find out this week!

I think it all depends on the number of applicants. I might call sometime this week and see if they have any info. From what I can tell from posts... they are sending out emails right now to people that have probs with their apps.

I just called and they are still saying the end of Oct... so possibly next friday:)

Gahhh, I would have thought they would be finished with that by now. At this point, they should have notified people who were missing things already. I think this will take longer than we expect :(

Sooo I have some news, although not the one we would like to hear :confused:. I just received an email from TWU requesting me the syllabus for my nutrition class, which I took in Miami, and they said that if they did not receive anything by Oct 24, I could not be considered for admission. So my guess is that after they receive everything they need from the applicants, they would send out the letters, which would be no earlier than Oct 25. The good news is that it is my belief that if they wouldn't have even considered a student for admission, they would't mind waisting their time asking for something. So that gives me a little hope. I would love to hear from them right now, but I do not see that happening until next week, or the following. :(
