Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed :uhoh3:

I doubt they will send tomorrow...they said at the end of the month. I'm thinking that means begining of november lol. And are they sending emails? or letters?

I wish they send out the letter tomorrow. will be receiving it via email. I guess they start sending from tomorrow on. Keep praying.

I haven't received any emails at all. I hope everything went through ok. AH. This is so nerve wracking. HOW MUCH LONGER?!?

Apparently no news is good news because they have not found any probs with your app. I haven't received any emails either. I am sure it will def be next week and we will receive emails. I saw keep busy and try to take your mind off of it as much as possible. I am trying to do just that but it is hard:)

Why are you all saying tomorrow? Did someone say they were going to start sending them tomorrow?

Last year they found out on Oct. 20th

Yeah... they all found out last year around Oct 20 but that does not guarrantee we will find out then. Every semester is different. I wouldn't get your hopes up.. sorry.

Oh I see! I bet they had a lot more applicants this year though. I applied last year to two universities and didn't get in, and this year I've applied to 5 schools of nursing. So I've been waiting for 10 months to find out. I'm just being chill about it, because there is nothing we can do. Leave it in Gods hands. HE will put you were you need to be in the spring! (but it would sure be nice if he just listened to us and just let us into nursing school already, right? hahah!)

@AMAE - if you don't mind me asking.. did you do anything different when you reapplied? Retake classes or exams? I will be eligible to apply to more schools next term if I don't get in to TWU. I am also considering to take additional classes to apply to even more schools if I need to.

@abranson02 - In short, yes. I reapplied to UTA, but since their deadline was so early (June 5th), I didn't have time to retake anything for them - so my GPA remained as it was with the addition of pharmacology and patho (but those didn't really change me GPA much) But I did retake a&p2 this summer and got an A for the rest of the schools I applied to.

I realize it seems like the biggest waste of time and money to retake B's in order to get A's...but I really don't want to do anything besides nursing, so it was kind of a no brainer for me. the good news is, I got into covenant school of nursing in lubbock, so I at least know I will be starting in the spring. good luck!!
