Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed :uhoh3:

I saw my advisor on Monday and he said that they still had about 30 more aps to finish up with, then wait from the replies on some emails before they will send out letters. He said it will be about two more weeks.

TWOOOOO whole weeks??? GEEEEZEEE! :( that sucks. I'm growing impatient! I need to keep myself busy!

November it is then guys!! I'm just so dang nervous...my TEAS score was horrible, and well my GPA ain't what I would like it to be either. AHHH! Most of you have awesome GPAS and great scores... y'all will do GREAT!!

Although I reaaaaallllyyy want to find out now, I am okay with that, because the letters for UTHSC-H don't go out until Nov. 20th, and I've heard the schools only give you about a week to confirm, so I want to find out around the same time, because otherwise I'll have to accept or deny one before finding out about the other. @_@

Twwwwooooo mooooorrrrreeee weeeeeeeekssss- no!! I really wish we could find out sooner because I need to plan things out for getting my kids to and from school if I do make it. I don't enjoy when the future is hanging in the balance with no absolute end date in sight. Hopefully it comes sooner!

How is very one feeling? What's your stats, 3.84, A's in everything except B in AP1, 86 TEAS. I am a nervous wreck!!!

just found this! surprisingly I don't know many others at TWU who are waiting to hear back, so i'm glad to know there are others out there freaking out just as much as I am!

I have a 3.7 (without the bump), A's in everything except statistics (bad adjunct teacher experience, got a B), micro lecture, and a&p 2 lecture, and 78 on the TEAS.

I'm pretty concerned about my TEAS score & the fact that I only have 1 preference. :/ :/

I applied with 3.71gpa, 90.7 Teas, 2A's and 2B's...I am just really excited to find out and start a nursing program :)

@ gemih...Welcome to the site! There are great people on here along with a ton of information. I am a little confused by your post. Are you saying that you know people who already have found out that they have gotten into nursing school in the Spring at TWU? There is a very strong possibility that I need a bit more caffeine this morning and I am just reading your post wrong. :brnfrt:
