Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed :uhoh3:

How much longer do we have yo wait? Anyone have an idea?

I got my associates degree situation sorted out! I'm graduating in December! :D

I posted this on the UTHSC-H forum, but congrats again heavykevy! I think everyone is right. It is the first letter for you of many. I only applied to UTHSC-H and TWU, and I haven't even decided yet which is my first choice. I am having a difficult time, because TWU has a Phi Theta Kappa scholarship, slightly lower tuition, both summers off. UTHSC-H is straight through, they have campus housing... @_@ idk! lol I am losing my mind.

Is the tuition at TWU lower than @ Uthsch?

@heavykevy lol I can imagine! If it ends up being the school for you, then I guess you'll just have to put up with being teased by your wife lol! I hear about a few guys going there though, so you won't be alone. I toured the campus awhile back and met a bunch of people (librarian, it guys, the lady who proctors/sets up the nursing labs, etc and everyone is extremely nice), so that's another plus on their side.

@cienfueguera one of the main things that TWU brags about is how low and affordable their tuition is. I have heard rumors that it is slightly lower than UTHSC, but I doubt it is by much.

I'm not exactly sure how much UTHSC's tuition is but I'm enrolled in 12 online hours at TWU. My tuition is around $4,000 with books. The financial aid is very fast. Everything was there before classes started. They shipped my books super fast.

I called TWU Houston today about my application and issues with the 1 year school acceptance time running out. They said that it could be November. Who knows....

My gas light came on today on my way to school and I was able to make it all the way back home without having to fill up! :lol2:
