Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!
About me
I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed
@nela87 I got the same email. I talked to the advisor, as for math as Long as you are core complete before the program starts (which I will be) then you don't need it. MC Women's studies just has to be complete before you graduate.
You actually shouldn't need MC Women's Studies at all if you're core complete at your original institution. That's only a core class of TWU's.
Okay so I reveived an email today from TWU saying I havent taken Multicultural Women's Studies and mAth 1703, and that I needed to have both of them. Well I thought Women's studies are ONLY taken at TWU , and you are able to do that once your accepted, which other people have done including my boyfriend. Second, the math class is not one of the COre curriculum bold ones, I also thought I was able to take the Quantatative Math class once I was in, since it was not one of the main classes. I am so confused now.
@nela87... I checked the website and I believe math 1703 is part of core complete bc it is the stats we need to apply. Like the advisor said.. if you can take it for wintermester you should be fine:) Plus, don't worry about your TEAS.. you have a great GPA.
No, if you're core complete and a first degree student, you don't have to take 1703. I made sure of that before I dropped it, because I was scheduled to take it this semester and didn't want to if I didn't need it. Heather and Jeff in advising told me it isn't necessary w/core completion.
