admissions was helpful I just wasnt sure what questions to ask. she said they had a little over 800 applications, TEAS score cutoff was still 64%, and that the first attempt courses were weighed heavier than the overall GPA and TEAS score. and that we would know at the end of the month!!! The anticipation is deadly.

It is a good thing that I have most of first attempts then lol. I heard UTA had around 1200 apps either this period or last semester.

Hi everyone! I am new to the site and I applied for the Spring semester at TWU Denton/Dallas. I have a bit of info that I want to share and might help calm the nerves...when I spoke to my advisor, she informed me that although 800+ people have applied, by the time they get through the applications and weed out the people who haven't completed their required prereq courses, have transcript issues and haven't taken the TEAS test or their TEAS scores and GPA aren't applicable, the actual number of applicants is around 375 - 400. This number includes people who received the lowest recommended TEAS score and GPA so of course the higher those scores the higher you are on the list. It's still a large number of applicants but it's better than 800! :specs: Hope this helps a little bit and good luck to all of us!

I spoke to advisor at twu yesterday. She said they recieved 800 applications for 200 seats ( and will send out emails by the end of october. :confused:

I wish we knew how many applicants applied to Houston and how many to Dallas campuses.

Okay so I reveived an email today from TWU saying I havent taken Multicultural Women's Studies and mAth 1703, and that I needed to have both of them. Well I thought Women's studies are ONLY taken at TWU , and you are able to do that once your accepted, which other people have done including my boyfriend. Second, the math class is not one of the COre curriculum bold ones, I also thought I was able to take the Quantatative Math class once I was in, since it was not one of the main classes. I am so confused now.
