TWU - Houston - Fall 2012

Published

Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

My GPA is 3.84, no bump, 3A of first attempt, and TEAS V is only 67...i don't see any one in this forum got the low TEAS score as mine....So I feel so nervous now,I don't know if any chance for me to get in.

I don't know how your guys did so good on the TEAS V....I studied a lot but...:crying2:...

Your GPA is outstanding!! And I know someone who made a 69 on the TEAS with a lower GPA than yours that got in from another semester. So keep your head up! But yeah I thought the TEAS was super hard, I ran out of time on both the math and reading portion.

Sonix,

I too thought the TEAS was a tough test. Especially compared to the HESI! TWU doesn't just look at the entrance exam test scores and your GPA is really good! I think you have as good a chance as everyone else! Glad you joined up with a group that's just as frustrated and anxious as your are!

Thanks Scrubb and ktdidit, your guys make me feel better...Waiting is killer, 6 more weeks to wait

Yeah the teas V was so tough, I did not answer 4 questions of reading parts, because it was 1st time I took the TEAS, so I didn't manage time right and reading was the 1st part of the test.

My GPA is 3.8 and TEAS is 84%. I am right there with the rest of you--that test was much more difficult than the HESI. (Compounded by the fact that the person next to me obviously had a cold and kept sniffling every 30 seconds! I could not focus and finally put the headphones on!)

Well, we've almost made it through February!! Dang leap year. I know that my nerves are almost shot. I've started thinking about what to do if I don't get in. Here's to us hanging in through March and for administrators getting out letters early.:lol2: I hope that the rest of you are hanging in better than I am right now.

How is everyone?

Impatient! I would really like to know something soon!

Hi everyone,

I am a new member but have always follow as a visitor. I have also applied for the Fall 2012 and I'm super anxious to hear from them. I applied for the spring but unfortunately I didn't get in. Hopefully this will be the semester that I get accepted. I have also applied for HBU. Has anyone heard of TWU admissions yet?

Good luck to everyone! Hope we will get to meet eachother in the Fall :-)

Just curious as to what your stats were? It seems people have been all over the place and there is no real pattern to getting in.

I am so stressed about hearing something from TWU or UTHSC. Lone Star is my back up and I know I will be accepted there but I really want to go to a University since I have put in all the time taking pre-reqs. It's hard not to check this site or UT everyday. I need to know something soon!

is anyone going to be commuting from the woodlands? i checkout out the woodlands express but the website is hard to understand and i think that unless you are down there all day, there are no buses running in the afternoon.

any suggestions on park and rides from woodlands to med center?
