TWU - Houston - Fall 2012

Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

BTW, how do you get the info to sign up orientation? Do you get it from the mail?

Honestly, I didn't even know about orientation until I read on this website from other students.

Just found out I'll be going to UTHSC, after I had already accepted admission to TWU. I'll be relinquishing my spot, so that should open a spot for somebody else.

Hey I got accepted to TWU but I think my packet was messed up, I only received 2 sheets and I got an attitude from some one in the nursing department (which kind of tells me that I am missing information). my questions are:

are we supposed to complete all our immunizations by may 4th?

are we supposed to complete our criminal background screening/drug screening by may 4th? if so, how do we do it?

Congratulations on your admission! As far as the May 4th goes ... to my understanding they are going to give us information there about the background check, who does it, when to do it etc. The immunizations I think can be turned in then (what is completed) then if you have anything else later you can fax in. I'm no expert though it's just what I've gathered from the piece of paper I received! Best of luck to you and I'll see you on the 4th!
