also, with the packet stuff, I got 3 pages only. Thats.. it.. I just need to do a TB test and that's all. But I think i'll turn in my report just to make sure what I'm thinking is correct. :)

I'm trying to call Ms. Washington and talk to her for more details b/c. when they say 'packet' I expect a 5 pages long or something, not 3 pages. o_O;

hey i was wondering if any of you have gotten a blood titer test done? I'm trying to figure out right now if my insurance covers it, but they are giving me a headache. Has anyone had it covered by their insurance? if no, where is a place i can get it done cheap?

just want to save money, lol.

I have had blood titers done and my insurance covered it 100% and my insurance is not that great! It was a headache for me as well. I finally went in and talked to my doctor and it was a coding issue with the office and the insurance company. Apparently there were multiple ways to code for the titers and my insurance would cover one and not the others. I got the right code information and went back to my doctor and asked them to code it so they would cover it and they did. I don't know if this is the same issue you are facing but hopefully it is because it was an easy fix once I discovered the problem. I would call your insurance and ask about the coding issue and then double check with your doctor's office! I hope this helps! I wish you the best of luck!

I am trying to get the procedure code from the doctor's office because the insurance was asking for it. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Do you happen to know what kind of computer the school recommends the students to use throughout the program? I know other nursing schools have the info in their websites but I didn't see it for TWU. I will probably figure it out on the 4th.

I was just about to ask that! The only one I've heard from so far is the transfer scholarship. All the others still say 'applied for'.

Did u get a transfer scholarship? For that one mine says pending and all the others say applied for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Yeah I did! But I didn't get the full amount. But still, huge relief! That's the one that had said 'pending' for the longest time on mine. It went from 'pending' to 'awarded.' Now I'm just waiting on five others..I wonder when we'll find out. I've been checking every day!
