I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
i did join tnsa but to be honest i don't really do much with it. it is pretty much something to put on your resume. out of all my clinical rotations my favorites have been l & d and peds. i found the list of books they have posted online for junior i and here they are kind of hard to read here, but if you want me to email it to you let me know and i will do that.

no not really. the only thing that might be a little difficult is if they actually rearranged the chapters meaning what was ch. 10 is now ch. 15. you will just have to look up your own page #'s or possibly chapters but hopefully not. the only problem some people ran into was when they said read pg. 150-158 and it was 205-214 in another book. as long as you don't mind then it's no biggie.
this might bee tooooo much to ask for, but could you email that list to me if you dont mind... =) please [email protected]
oh godd i was at UH, and literally all my science teachers wrote their own books and had us buy it.. it was soooooooooooo annoying not to mention they would publish another edition just because of one or two pages they added..! and they are overly priced just because its the prof. edition
