I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)

I do have some news though...NO packet for me, but I spoke to an adviser who said that Patho can be taken at the Denton campus by the Houston students(it counts towards our BSN). It's an internet only class, offered under the option SUMMER III and we need 15 ppl, so people pleaeeeeeease join! There might be popsicles for the lucky individuals..but i'm just sayin, lol I guess cape cods may be more tempting
Lol. I'm going to call the houston campus on monday and talk to an advisor then. I'll see what one is best for me to register for. But trust me there is going to be way more than 15 in the class. ... but...I'll still take the cape codlol
I talked to Theresa McDaniel (Admission lady in Denton) and she said that we are able to register for Patho at the Denton campus and that it would transfer, could you possibly be confusing it with one that is going to be offered at the Dallas campus?
I just looked and there are 2 internet classes. One is for fast track and the other for everyone else. I'm not sure if I will do online though. I might just go to the class. I'm not really disciplined since I haven't been in real school since 2005
