I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
Man, I think I missed prime time :/ Oh well, you guys were right though, I was working, then I had a speech class which is completely pointless now that I'm not going for nursing at our community college, and how am I supposed to concentrate on a stupid speech when I'm already thinking about what a pain patho is going to be!
But anywho, I can't figure out why ya look familiar Nicole, you may just be a look-alike of an old friend, or perhaps I am crazy...I'd lean towards the latter :). Thanks for thinking that I look fun tho...did the sombrero give it away? rofl.

Are we suppose to be waiting for the packet before we do anything? i mean it's suppose to explain registration and shots and stuff like that right? I hope it comes today or tomorrw
I believe it will. We really cant register or anything since they have to process us as nursing students. Right now we just are students who want nursing as a major. Does that make sense to you?
yea, I hate feeling rushed, and I've had too many classes fill up on me cuz I slept late on registration day. Mail runs today at 2, hope that damn packet comes today!
