I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
Christine I doubt it. I'm sure the dallas campus is completelty filled the first semester. Now 2nd you might since I'm sure someone will fail out or drop.
Sophia there are a lot of discount stores you can get some decent furniture for. Nothing too fancy since we are students
Murse either NNP (neonatal nurse practitioner) or CRNA. I want to be a pracitioner don't think bedside would make me happy forever. But I guess we'll see what I like when we start clinicals

yeah nhoward I'll post any info I get on tuition, trust me I want to know so my parents can know what to expect, I want the admissions packet already,,, well g2g I'm in class and I need to pay attention since this class will make me core complete--- are all of y'all core complete at Ur "transfering institution" (in Twu's words)- lol- if Ur not u have to take a computer class and liberal math and multi-cultural class or something like that,,,,
And yea, I'd like to see if they would allow transfer students, I bet you'd have to reapply all over again and be just as competitive, but hopefully the packets say something! Anyone gotten their's yet?
well they shouldn't go by too slow...we have to prepare in so many ways....and no I have not gotten the packet yet,,,i am going out of town this weekend so hopefully they will be here before that or by the time i come back....ttyl ,,,,off to work!

Just take the third shot. Yes.. she did send me an email after I faxed her the stuff. I faxed in the morning and received the email in the afternoon. I don't think it should be a program.
