I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
Lol I'm glad we've all established that none of us are alcoholics. haha. But ... we will drink some of those cranberry drinks.. i think they are called cape cods? and michael will join us lol

Hi ya'll....I feel so left out because I can't log on all the time cause i have to work...I've been super busy these past 2 weeks with school stuff and other crazy things. Well, just an FYI, I would definetly take Patho in the summer, it will be great to get it out of the way. By the way I'm 20 yrs old too, Nicole you are not the only one, lol-- Also I'm getting really anxious, I want the packet already. Sorry guys, I don't have a facebook, but maybe I'll join just to be in the group...I feel totally out of the mix cuz I only check in at nights...Super excited. Just to let you know more about me, I live in Houston too (with my parents). I heard one of the first things that we should do is form a study group..heard it was very useful!---Congrats Michael on being the only gut on this thread (i think) polka-dot scrubs seems like fun-lol well I'll try to get on here more to keep up with all the new info....Somebody post a link to the facebook group so i can join....(never had a myspace either, didn't want to become one of those obsessed people on 24/7) --No offense if any of you were that person,,,lol-- but yeah I want to join the group....
so do you have any idea what the actual tuition is for the bsn program...i'm not sure if whats on the website is accurate....anyone with info,,,let me know
