I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
yup the necesities ,,,,,I'm thinking of getting one of those mini-laptops that weigh like 2 pounds, i'll leave my other one at home..too big to lug around..
Thought about buying an apple laptop, never used one before, more like a pc type of a person. But apple laptop is really good, extremely long battery life.
It's crazy how if you don't log in for a few hours then you miss like a million posts, lol, sigh, we have no lives.
Princess- I want to go into pediatrics and hopefully become an NP in that field when it's all said and done, what about you?
m-cabos- Get facebook!! Don't feel left out though, we're definitely a welcoming group of ppl if you couldn't tell from the thread! And if you find out anymore about tuition, will you post it on here?
Sophia- apple is definitely the best laptop out there, but PC just seems to be the way of colleges, so I think I'm staying PC. (I'm sure we'll be stressed enough without having to worry about converting things all the damn time )

No all I keep seeing is what's on the aid website. So I'm assuming that is 20k for both years or maybe less
