TWU FNP Spring 2019

Updated:   Published

Hello all! Was wondering if anyone was thinking about/has applied for TWU's NP Program starting Spring 2019? If so, which campus and which specialty did you apply to?

Also, if anyone has been admitted to the TWU NP Program in the past few semesters, would you mind giving me a timeline as to how long after you submitted your application until you found out you were accepted? Also, any other stats like undergrad GPA, years of experience, etc. that you're willing to share in regards to your application would be appreciated!!

I look forward to hearing from you guys!

Do you happen to know if any of the courses can be taken online? Or is it purely in-person classes?

Majority of the courses are online, especially the first semester!

Do not depend on them to find you a preceptor- take it from someone in their FNP Houston class. There is a demand for preceptors across Texas (and the US) due to the number of available NP programs online. I would find a plan B just incase theirs does not work out.

I think it is mostly online, however I am not certain.

Hey guys, I applied to TWU about 4 weeks back and just got my acceptance email. Congrats to all of you who have been accepted and looking forward to meeting everyone who will be at the Houston campus for FNP in 2019 spring!!!

Anyone received any info on orientation yet?

Hey just wondering how you found that in webadvisor? I just applied, I did all my BSN stuff through TWU though.

In webadvisor go into applicants when you sign in not students. There is a tab for admission status.

Thanks HelloWish. Have you heard any recommendations on which core classes should be taken together. I know for sure I will be doing Adv. Health Assessment alone. Then I will take Patho and Theory together.

No. I haven't talked to my friend in the program about this yet. If/when I do, I will post here with the info! :-)

Hi! I applied to the spring 2019 houston campus and i checked my web advisor and it said i was accepted on August 10th but haven't received anything in the mail. Also was wondering if this was the only school you guys applied to?
