Is anyone out there applying for the fast track program starting in the summer for the Dallas campus? I am applying. Will have my pre-reqs completed in January. I am very stressed about them only accepting 30 students!!! Does anyone have any thoughts, concerns, anything??!? I think I am going crazy waiting for April to come to know if I got in or not!
Yup, it's true! I got it in writing too (in an email). I can't believe intro will suffice! How is intro going for you? Is it better than gen chem?
I'm really hoping to pull an A out of that class, but it's this guy's first time teaching it and he didn't even give us a syllabus! Can you believe that??? Anyway, we've had about six tests so far, and I don't know how many more we'll have. I've got a high B/low A on the tests, but he weights the labs and homework more than the tests. I should have about a mid-A on those. Who the heck knows, though?!?! We started out with 15 people and we're now down to five.
I took the NET two weeks ago.
79 reading comp.
97 math
89 composite
If I get an A in Chem, I'll have about a 3.81ish. I really should do the math and figure that number out for sure!
With my C in micro being replaced with a A I shold have about a 3.7/3.8 And with my 79 on the reading I might have a good shot to get in fast track. The good thing I like about TWU is that if you don't get into fast track they will consider you for the fall without having to pay extra
Yah, i like that too that you don't have to re-apply or pay again. I think that's a great way to improve your app.
Just wondering if anyone who gets rejected for the fast track who doesn't want to go the regular route and start in the fall?? I know I do but I was just wondering how others feel about it :typing Wow looks like just the people here on this thread have a 3.8 or higher so this will be cut throat for 30 slots!!! What other programs is everyone applying to if any??

Yes, it is going to be a close call on this fast track, and I hope all of us get in! If I don't get in for summer, I would definately want to be considered for the Fall. I am not applying anywhere else since TWU is the ONE school I desire to go to. are you applying anywhere else?
Like you goopsy TWU is my dream school but like this spring semester I only applied to this school so I'll add about 4 more just in case. I really want to go ahead and start my nursing career.
I really do to-want to go ahead with my nusring career. Maybe I will try to apply to some more schools. I checked out San Antonio. I have all the classes except dumb intro to soci. There is no way I am taking more classes. I can't even do it if I wanted to since deadline is jan...
I received my NET Test study guide today. I will let you know if it is helpful or not...I bought it from the actual NET test company. Has everyone already taken their NET test?
The Net study guide was not helpful for me. The passages in this guide were very short and easy (you could easily tell what was the main idea or inference). The real Net test was difficult for me, longer passages, more confusing and not enough time.
The study guide is around $25. I would not spend a penny for this book.

I have heard the same about the NET: people getting 60s all the way to 90s. Some people said it was way easy, and others claimed difficult. I agree that it will be competitve because I know about five people applying, and have heard of many others through this network. I am not at TWU, at a local community college. I know what you mean about the B's!!
