TWU FALL 2015

Published

Hi everybody!!! I just wanted to see if a previous thread for TWU Fall 2015 has been started,if not I wanted to start one. Is there anybody else planning to apply for this program? Also where is everybody at with TEAS testing and pre reqs??Any feedback is appreciated!!!

Ladies I am so sorry I appear like a huge downer when everyone is anticipating their exciting news. This career change is one I don't have a lot of support on. I am 36 work full time have 2 kids and will probably be taking a pay-cut to become a nurse but it's all I want to do. I feel like a complete failure. It's one thing to be beaten out in a class by better applicants but to not even be considered for less than a point. It is killing me.

I'm honestly so very sorry. I mean, you can try talking to an adviser and see if they make exceptions. The good thing is, you're not giving up on a dream of yours. Stay positive, it'll all work out for the best! :)

Does anyone know if they send out e-mails verifying that your application is being reviewed or anything? Or do they just e-mail you If they have questions and to let you know your if you were accepted/denied?

I believe they just email if they have any questions or need more information from you. I do know that if they email you, you have to respond in 5 business days or they revoke you application. So make sure you check your email regularly, and it's your TWU email.

trust me, I have been checking about every 20 minutes every day! lol I am so anxious. Thank you!

Same here, this waiting is the worst.....

This waiting is killing me as well! Time has really been dragging on... I can't believe it's only been 6 days since the deadline :banghead:

I'm so ready for February to be over haha!

Same! I'm so ready for mid March! This anxiety is killing me :(

Does anyone know if we are allowed to take pre-reqs that we originally received a B in? I didn't know if that was allowed since a B is a passing grade.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, you're allowed to if you'd like! It just might not count toward your GPA depending on when you retake them and when you apply :)

That's great news, thanks!!

One more question.. Does anyone know exactly have the TWU bump works? I've seen the number .4 floating around... Do the give you .4 additional points on your pre-req gpa?
