Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
I couldn't find any shoes that fit that were all white. Most brands make their logo gray or silver...do y'all think that'll be okay?
I ended up buying the expensive Gray's Anatomy scrubs. The stores I went to had very slim pickens when it came to maroon/wine colors. I just hate that show...ugh...but they are some nice scrubs.

Grey's Anatomy scrubs? Never heard of them...do tell!
My shoes have a tad bit of grey around the logo, but it looks almost white cuz it is so light...hope that is okay. My husband so very kind a bought me an awesome Oakley backpack with mathching glasses.
I had never really heard of them either. I found a message board on allnurses about scrubs, and a few people mentioned them. Then I saw them on a few of the scrubs sites online.
They are polyester & rayon, and apparently never fade, shrink, or wrinkle. They're also supposed to be very durable. The lady at the store where I bought my scrubs had a GA set on that she said she'd had for years. They also are fitted a little better than generic scrubs.
I'm happy for everyone that got a B! YAY FOR YOU GUYS!!!!! As for me, I didn't Test 2 messed me up pretty bad and I wasn't able to recover. Oh well. On the bright side, I'm glad this class is over and I'm very very very happy that I got this class out of the way. The outcome was definitely not what I wanted but I will never let another poopy butt (trying to keep it clean) teacher get in my way again! I did learn the info though, so that's always good.
Any who, I got these shoes from HSN (haha, yes HSN!) that are really comfortable. I wear them now to work and they're all white maybe a little gray. They're Joy Mangano Performance Platforms GetFit (in case anyone wants to look them up go to HSN.com). I'm going to wear those. I think it will be ok. If not, then I can always buy some new ones. Plus, these shoes make me like 2 inches taller!!! WHOOT! WHOOT!

Ok so the grades are still with .whatever but is that how she submitted them as well? Because mine has a .58 on the end so is it rounded up or twu will not round up? I wish they would post to pioneer portal already cuz for me it's the difference between two different letter grades if it was rounded up or not...

TWU does round up....a 0.5 will round up to the next number.

I watched Gray's for half a season once...it was awful! It's like they take the most depressing things they can think about, add in the most horrid acting, and then a contrived sex-in-the-supply-closet scene, and it's supposed to be good? I don't even think the token "hot guys" are even all that cute... I could go on and on about how much I hate that show...
I prefer good TV....like Big Brother, Project Runway, The Daily Show....and for my medical drama, the one and only - HOUSE!
