Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
Is there a way to tell if they got your financial aid award letter? I signed and sent mine back a while ago, but I just got an email about financial aid this weekend, and it said something about sending back the letter...
The only award letter I've received and signed for was for the emergency loan for summer and I personally took it up to the school the very next day. I'm starting to panic here because I have yet to receive any other type of award letter. I know I'm not getting any grants so its going to be loans but don't we still get some kind of letter saying "sorry you don't qualify for grants so go ahead and apply for a loan" (not literally like that).
Oh, and has anyone heard anything about the scholarships we applied for through STARS? I have one that says denied and the rest read applied for.
Since class is cancelled this Thursday, do ya'll think the test is going to be moved back a week? Or will the test still be the following Thursday 7/1?
I think it will be pushed back a week because it says in the syllabus that he will tell us what information will be covered the week before the exam. Just a guess though.
I hate that the prof is in the hospital . I pray that he gets out ASAP! As far as the syllabus goes, since it says that it is tentative, it will most likely be pushed back. It will be tough catching up though since we are already behind. Some things we just don't have control over.

I was also wondering why I have not received any of the funds that I accepted through the award letter. I faxed it to them three times and even emailed to confirm that it was received. A month later when I called they said they never ever ever got it:mad:. I knew someone had to be wrong so I called again and talked to someone different and verified that everything was received.
Basically, call there and talk to someone...I talked to Vickie M. She was wonderful and competent. She will let you know exactly what is going on.
I emailed Dr. D today and he said he hasn't decided whether he is going to move the test date or not. If the test is still Thursday it will be over what we have already covered. Nothing he hasn't gone over in class will be on the test. Just wanted to let everyone know :)
I went to the one last week and it was well worth the time and money...I wish I can go tomorrow but I can't. As for Dr. D, I hope he gets well soon. I did email him, but it was to wish him a well recovery.
