TWU Fall 2011 Hopefuls

Hello! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the college of Nursing at Texas Woman's University. Who already goes there? What do you have left to take? Are you nervous... etc!

My name is Alli, I will start at TWU, not the nursing program, this summer. Moving to Denton with my husband. I can't wait!

Thanks! I won't be core complete, can't find a good professor during summer. I'm taking ap2, micro, and statistics this summer. What is a bump? I keep hearing this over and over?

I spoke with someone in the nursing dept. at Denton location in regards to the dump she said in order to receive the .4 bump you have to completed 32 hours at TWU or have a bachelors degree already. Hmmmm how true is this?

its 16hrs you must complete AT TWU to get the .4 bump once you have the degree.

3.3 (I don't get a bump, did all pre-req's at community college) and 92 on tease

okay so i did huge mistake.. i got accepted to twu for fall 2011 and did not send out the letter or email to twu by april 15th.. so i am rejected for fall 2011 program :( i called and told them that i was out of country and they did not care and this one lady b*** me out... i am soo disappointed!!!!!!!!

did you apply for any other schools? like pvamu and utmb? i will decline pvamu, that means the people on the waitlist will get in. try to talk to the dean or someone in charge of college of nursing and explain your situation to them. may be it will help
