TWU fall 2023 applicants

Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

I have no idea how many apply to the programs, they had only mentioned how many they accept. I would love to know though!

I attended a UTMB webinar and they said for fall it's usually 1,000-1,500 people who apply. I'd imagine something similar for TWU? Except since there's two campuses maybe it's half of that or two thirds

Thanks y'all! Just waiting day by day checking my email constantly ahaha. I did think it would be competitive going against maybe 500-1000 people so it makes sense now! ?

I was just watching a YouTube video made by TWU staff and they said that they got rid of the 5 year rule so your AP classes will be fine. I remembered someone had asked in here.

I thought I remember someone asking the cohort size.

Traditional (Dallas & Houston) is 120 students

W/E is 40 students

For those who haven't received an email yet don't be sad. I emailed someone and they said that they are still processing applications and letters and that more are going out.

hey everyone! congrats to everyone that got accepted! I'll be applying for next semester, does anybody happen to know if they accept pre reqs that were taken online! I took A&P & Microbiology online bc of covid :/
