TWU fall 2023 applicants

Published

Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

Hi guys,

I was accepted for the Houston campus. I was wondering for me to be accepted I would have had to have developmental psychology finished right?

I believe in a packet I found online it says you do. Don't know if it'll let me put the link but it's listed in the blue background. Did they accept you without you having it? Maybe they didn't notice

I had completed a lifespan course at Texas State. When I look at the packet it is in blue and is not equivalent but substituted for it, but when I look at twu system it says I am missing developmental psychology. I'm hoping it is substituted for it but I emailed them about it.

I have my Microbiology course completed at another university that is not in Texas but my advisor said they are equivalent so I did not need to retake it at TWU, but on the TWU system still marks that I'm missing that course, so maybe the system doesn't matter as long as they have accepted it.

I think you should be fine

I called the dallas advising office earlier today to ask if all the acceptance letters have been released and the advisor said he was unsure if they had even started sending out emails ?

Anyone know the # of ppl accepted for each campus (traditional)? Couldn't find anything online but I'd like to know the cohort size

When I went to an info session (Houston) I believe the admissions person said they accepted about 120 per cohort.

Their YouTube account has an info session from 2 years ago where they answered a lot of questions, including regarding the cohort sizes. They had said it was 120 per campus and I believe around 40 for the Dallas weekend program.

Do you know how many apply to the Dallas Traditional one if you know? Just curious. I still haven't received an acceptance nor rejection letter from Dallas Traditional...
