TWU fall 2023 applicants

Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

Yay good!  Yeah I admit the email is worded funny but still says to upload to nursingCAS where TWU technically does receive them since all nursingCAS applications are sent to TWU after being submitted! It's the transcripts that have to be uploaded to nursing CAS and also sent to TWU.  We got this y'all.

I could totally be making this up but I swear I heard 60 per cohort. I'm not 100% sure though

Wow, what happens if we accept and then get another offer from a different school later? Do we lose money if we take back the acceptance? I wish they were a little more lenient

Hello! I'm applying for fall 2023 Dallas. I have a 3.57 prerequisite GPA, 3.8 science GPA, and a 90 on TEAS. Some work experience as a vet tech in an animal hospital and currently work as a diet clerk in a hospital. My concern is my b in micro and a c in stats. Does any one have any honest thoughts?

Have you submitted the application? Your stats are good and your experience!

With a B and C in micro/stats, I believe that's a 3.6 science GPA.  However yes good stats, but depends on everyone else applying of course. Wonderful TEAS score! You def have a great shot like us!  Im applying with a 3.84 science GPA and 89.3 on TEAS.  Have had a few friends/co workers be accepted this last year with a 3.4 - 3.8 science GPA and 85ish on TEAS so I'm trying to be hopeful. We shall see!

You'll be alright, I have a C on A&P II lab and B on A&P I, my GPA is 3.8 and TEAS is 87. You also have work experience while I do not put any on mine so be positive:)
