TWU fall 2023 applicants

Hi everyone! I am hoping to get a thread started for future Texas Woman’s University nursing students. I have been finishing up my pre requisites and planning to apply for fall nights and weekends. I would love to hear from other potential nursing students hoping to get into the TWU fall 2023 cohort.

I think they just take into consideration the nursing pre-reqs so you should be fine. Where did you find your overall GPA?

Once your application is verified if you click on your actual application it is on the last page (I think) or after the transcript section.

Do we have to be verified before the application deadline or just have everything in by the deadline?

Thank you - do you mean on the downloaded PDF application on the 'Check Status' page?

I am assuming we just need to have everything finished and submitted by the deadline.

Did anyone else have trouble submitting more than 157 words for the personal statement responses? I wrote mine on a word doc but it only lets me transfer over 157 words?

They can only be 900 characters. Mine were roughly 160 words.

Thank you for responding! Mine won't even allow me to reach 160 words so I was concerned to send a short response compared to the possible 900 words the application allows ? thank you for your quick response though!!

Yes, unfortunately it isn't 900 words. Only 900 characters. It was hard to fit a great answer in such a small allowance.
