I have not seen a forum for the Fall 2022 cycle, so I decided to make this one. What is everyone’s stats? Have y’all completed the application due on February?
Hey all - anyone that apply that came from Dallas college? I’m struggling to find what fulfills TWU’s core 90 block? My pre nursing advisor for TWU said that Dallas college will tell me, but my advising at Dallas college doesn’t know either! I’ll probably call TWU to see again but figured I would ask anyone here.
thanks!

Hi! I think you are referring to the Woman’s Culture class right? My advisor told me that since I am transferring with an Associates of Science it will cover it since I will be transferring core complete. If I didn’t complete my associates, I would have to take one of those classes at TWU.

Hiii thank you for answering!! so not that class, I was told the same by the pre nursing advisor as well thankfully! The class is “additional math or wellness”, I believe it’s possibly an economics type of class at Dallas college maybe? Not sure but I haven’t gotten any concrete answers so just trying to figure it out myself haha
hii! I just got accepted to TWU & transferred from dallas college! my additional math & wellness requirement was fulfilled by an EDUC 1300 class from dallas college. IDK if you have heard of it but it’s a super easy learning frameworks/ college prep course that dallas college typically encourages your first semester. TWU has a course that is similar to it called UNIV something. If you have taken that EDUC class or plan to take it & send that transcript you should be fine! Look up the course and ask a TWU prenursing advisor though to make sure!

Hello,
It’s actually very easy. It’s any Math or Wellness class. I took MATH 1314 - College Algebra and it satisfied it. I found this on the TWU website. It shows the classes that meet the curriculum block and what the Texas Common Course Number is on the left side.
-Hope it helps,

Hey guys, I’m applying for Spring 2023 and just finished taking the TEAS. I have the except spreadsheet from previous forums that is supposed to calculate your admissions score, but has anyone noticed it doesn’t seem to use your overall prerequisite GPA? Like for the science GPA it calculates it after I fill everything out, but the overall prerequisite does not automatically fill in. I have an understanding of it (if it’s accurate) from my TWU self service account, but I can type the number in the box and see no change on the calculated admissions score. I can even change it to a 0 and it doesn’t do anything to the admissions score. Is this just me?

Hopefully this works? I can’t figure out how to send it since it’s downloaded on my phone. This is the link someone shared on another forum and it worked for me.

Hi, I know I am late to respond but I just saw this and noticed no one had responded yet. The reason why your pre-requisite GPA doesn’t change anything is because it does not matter. You are required to have a pre-req of 3.0 or above but the actual number won’t affect the score. Wether it’s a 3.1 or a 3.9 won’t affect your chances any more or less.
Your science GPA will affect it, though.
