  1. Has anyone heard back about interviews for specialty track or acute care?
  2. Hi Trinh, Unfortunately, they haven’t told us all the courses that will be online. For the fall semester 2022, pharmacology will be online and classes will be evenings (twice a week) 5-8:30 with labs on Saturdays. Asides from that, the rest is unknown. However, when I first searched for information and went through the process, I was advised that classes will be evenings and clinicals and labs on weekends. You could try reaching out to an advisor to try to obtain that information. -Best of luck,
  3. Hi, I know I am late to respond but I just saw this and noticed no one had responded yet. The reason why your pre-requisite GPA doesn’t change anything is because it does not matter. You are required to have a pre-req of 3.0 or above but the actual number won’t affect the score. Wether it’s a 3.1 or a 3.9 won’t affect your chances any more or less. Your science GPA will affect it, though.
  4. Hello, It’s actually very easy. It’s any Math or Wellness class. I took MATH 1314 - College Algebra and it satisfied it. I found this on the TWU website. It shows the classes that meet the curriculum block and what the Texas Common Course Number is on the left side. -Hope it helps,
  5. Hello, I have not tried to talk to anyone currently enrolled or already graduated from the N/W program. If I was trying to though, I would comment on a previous term or message some of the people who were accepted in previous years. You might get lucky and have someone reply and share with you. You can search AllNurses by TWU Fall 2020, TWU Fall 2021, etc and read through the comments to find someone to message. You can also post on the threads directly asking for advice on them.
  6. Hey, if you log into the pioneer portal https://portal.twu.edu/default.asp?refby=%2Fmyinfo.asp You’ll see both numbers you need for the Clinical Survey. The student number and the other one. -Hope this helps ?
  7. Mine also says “Spring 2022”
  8. I am also a transfer student.
  9. I just received my acceptance via email for the weekend and evening program! Has anyone else?

  11. Same here! Good Luck to Everyone ???
  12. I am putting a lot of hope on my short answer responses. I worked on them for 2 weeks since my numbers were pretty low. I am really hoping they actually read them and take into consideration what we wrote and not just analyze whether we can write. In last years discussion responses weren’t received until April.
  13. I checked the discussion board for last years Fall applicants and most people stated they received acceptance emails in April (early to mid). GOOD LUCK to everyone ??
  14. Hello, I have requested the background check but it has not been completed. I just emailed advising to see if it’ll be a problem to apply without it being completed. Once I receive a response, I’ll share. ☺️ The admissions office responded: ”If you’ve submitted the background check, you’ll be okay. But just make sure it was submitted. It doesn’t necessarily have to be done processing by the deadline. Same way your application doesn’t necessarily have to be verified by the deadline. But will need to become verified within a reasonable time frame. After which, you’d receive an email from somebody within the College of Nursing detailing what’s missing and how long you have to resolve the issue or respond.”
  15. I was able to use the spreadsheet posted above to calculate and it appears the prerequisite GPA does not affect the point system. I totaled at 44.10 points, I am not too happy about it, but will try my hardest on the short answer responses and hope for the best. I am curious to see what will end up mattering more, the holistic (short answer) or the grades.
