TWU Fall 2022 Applicants

I have not seen a forum for the Fall 2022 cycle, so I decided to make this one. What is everyone’s stats? Have y’all completed the application due on February?

Hi!

Those are really good stats!! I took the TEAS twice, but I somehow got the exact same grade (to the decimal) the second time. Also have you input your scores into the Points worksheet?

Thankfully I only had to take it once, the official practice exams on the ATI TEAS website were definitely a huge help, my primary study source was NurseHub. Honestly, I was not expecting to do so well on my first attempt!

I did input them on the points worksheet some time ago but honestly, I can't remember what the score was. I don't have any bonus points from being a previous TWU student or anything though. I believe I was around the 65-68 point area.

Hey, after application verification on NursingCAS, are we supposed to complete any other material for the application?

I'm also applying to the Houston campus.

My stats are

96.7% TEAS | OVR GPA: 3.9 | Pre-req GPA: 3.8

Oh, you are for sure getting in with those stats! (Fingers crossed for you)

I believe that you also have to request a background check, I recommend doing this asap

Hi, I am curious as to how long it took for your TEAS scores to be uploaded to NursingCAS. My test is scheduled for the 24th and I’m a little nervous with the Feb 1 deadline quickly approaching..

You just kinda upload them while you're filling out the application, it should be instantaneous. Make sure it is the "Individual Performance Profile" score sheet that you upload. There's a verification process after you submit the application but I don't believe TWU cares if it's not verified by the deadline, as long as you already submitted the application.

Yes, make sure the scoresheet you submit from TEAS is 3 sheets or 7 sheets! Mine was 7 sheets.

Does anyone know if we have to send an official transcript from ATI? The one that requires you pay for it to be sent. I have a transcript credit, but I am not sure if I should use it.

On the NursingCas App in the program materials section, under TEAS requirements, it states to not send the transcript to TWU because they will not receive it.

Hello! I just submitted my application today for the Houston Campus. My stats are:

Overall GPA: 3.95

Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 87.3%

Does anyone happen to have the excel sheet to calculate your point score for admission? I tried finding it in other forums from previous terms but whenever I click on the link it says that it can't be found or the page was removed.

I am also doubtful of my TEAS score. I did speak with an advisor and was told a competitive score was around an 87 and I've seen other forums where the average applicants' points were about a mid-40. I am also a transfer student so I do not get the point boost. Are my scores enough to get accepted?

HI!

I have the sheet. A TWU Dallas advisor gave it to me (I don't think it'd be different from Houston). I am not sure about Houston's competitiveness as I have only spoken to a Dallas advisor. However your GPA is really good which will help your overall points.
