TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Published

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

Hey guys,

So, for the NursingCas question under achievements, certifications etc, if it says brief discription, what do I need to put?

Hi! Unless admissions rules have changed, those are not taken into consideration as part of the admissions process for TWU. You can leave it blank.

Hi! Anyone knows if UTD Pathophysiology class will be accepted for TWU?

It’s case by case and up to the faculty. So there is no yes or no to this question.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success in your Nursing program!

So, they just look for GPA and TEAS Score or Admission score or both?

TEAS + GPA = admission score

its based off admission score

Hey guys!

Did y'all recieved an email from NursingCas saying your application has been verified and "All coursework on your NursingCAS application has been verified against your official transcripts." What does this mean?

Yes I got that email too, your application is verified means that they checked the coursework that you entered on the transcript entry part of the application with the transcripts that you sent to NursingCAS and made sure it matched and there were no mistakes.

I think you mentioned that you were at UTD? are you going to graduate from UTD with a degree in the Spring? I think on the TWU website they mentioned that if you have any classes that is towards a degree they will not post that, just the classes you have taken after a degree. I graduated from UTD in 2019 and afterwards I went to community college to take some classes, on the degree plan evaluation for me they only have the classes I took at community college but not the classes at I took at UTD.

I just take class at UTD with no degree earn. My pre-reqs are taken at community college. But all my community college has not put in to their system. I have email nursing advisor try to fix this before deadline. I am afraid it will affect my application.

Ohh okay I see, hopefully the nursing advisor sorts it out.
