Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:
Overall: 85.3%
Reading: 87.2%
Math: 96.9%
Science: 74.5%
English: 83.3%
I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.
I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.
Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

I'm assuming this is you in the video & that this is based on TWUs schools. Which one do you go to?

If you do get a rejection email, don't lose faith! In the past, those who were on the rejection list were also on the waitlist so you could still have a chance. I believe someone mentioned that those who got their acceptances must accept/deny by next Thursday 4/9? So I would keep your faith strong for the next 2 weeks, especially if you are right at where the cut off was. If not, look and see if you can retake any of you low grade classes this Summer/fall. It is also a new application cycle from now until the Spring application cut off in August, so you have two new chances to retake the TEAS if you need to improve your score. Keep working hard and don't give up!

I got a rejection email this morning that told me I didn’t get into the nursing program but I did get into the nutrition, kinesiology, and health sciences programs. Is that how all rejection letters are?

From what I've seen in the past, yes. And sometimes they offer a scholarship if you choose to enter the other programs. But again, if they go down the waitlist and you're next then they will tell you that you've been accepted to the nursing program even though they've already sent you an email previously saying you were not!

Yes don’t give up. I got rejected from multiple places. Last year I retook multiple classes that I had a B in and retook the TEAS more than once. This year I got in. So keep going!
