TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

How did you send your TEAS score through ATI? Whenever I click on share results, it won't let select another school.

Hey everyone, the time has come today is the deadline, and from now and on it is just waiting. I am applying to the Houston campus with a 3.88 nursing GPA and a 89 overall TEAS. Good luck! And let's keep this thread going.

On one of the info packets, it says to send an official ati transcript. Have you tried searching for TX TWU Denton, or TWU Denton I forgot how it exactly comes up

I had my advisor appointment this past Wednesday at the Denton Campus & my advisor said this year they’re gonna take a little longer to send out the acceptance emails cause 1 of the 5 advisors doesn’t work there no more & so they have one less advisor to go through the applications. So they will likely send the acceptance emails out the last week of March or first week of April!

I did send my score before I begin test. They asked me if I want to send my score to any college and I said yes, and choose TWU Denton. I pay extra 27$ though. It should let you share. If not, contact ATI.

Did you take it at TWU? If you did then it was automatically sent to TWU.

I have either a 64.07 or 58.47 depending on what Chemistry course they decide to use.

How many extra points does a previous Bachelor add? Does anyone have access to that sheet? I haven't taken the TEAS yet and I'm trying to decide between TWU and UTA. The TEAS doesn't matter at UTA but I have a higher GPA at TWU. I previously took the HESI and got a 96 but the TEAS is scaring me
