TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

Yea I applied for spring, my admission score was 52.4

You were so close. Your new score is really good though so I'm sure you'll be fine this time! I'm applying with only 44.7 points, 3.84 nursing gpa and 85.3 teas. I wish I had the twu bump

Does anyone know what the lowest accepted score generally is for Houston?

Is it better to submit our application even if we don't have all our transcripts received/verified yet? Or is it better to wait to submit until everything's verified?

If you have everything else done it's better to submit. Apparently if it's not verified by the deadline TWU will reach out to nursingcas to get it verified

My nursingCAS application turned from received to complete today (right after both transcripts were received). I hate this waiting game.

Hello. I am also applying for Fall 2020 and I am wondering how everyone is getting their scores? I found the spreadsheet on the TWU website but I am having trouble inputing my grades and all.

@yfatima82 I'm honestly not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm putting in my information and it won't give me a score. Maybe I'm missing something? I did include my grades, but I have a previous bachelor's degree and I am not sure if I have to include the history and government scores.

Did you put in your teas scores already?

@yfatima82 Yes I did put in my teas scores. So since I have a previous bachelor's I put yes on that question and the TWU preference is only if I attend TWU correct?
