Twu Fall 2009 Applicants

Published

Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:

Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.

We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again

I am positive, upbeat and excited.

TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:

Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:

Glad to see a lot of houston people on this thread. The new health center looks nice outside. Has anyone did the informational session before?

Sophia do u know if they have a waiting list for fast track??

The houston campus looks really nice. I did the information session there.

I'm definitely going ot be a pracitioner i just plan on working 2-3 years before i get my masters. I hope us houston people iwll be classmates!

I don't really see the point in calling. All that happens is that you get a little tiny shred of information...And it usually isn't even ACCURATE information anyway...And then you overanalyze it to death trying to figure out if you're going to make the cut or not. It's completely pointless.

Go shopping, see a movie, have lunch with a friend, read your bible, call your mom, stalk old boyfriends on facebook...whatever. But stop putting yourselves through hell. Really. You have no control over the situation, and you don't have enough information to analyze it with any degree of accuracy.

Relax!!! Everything's going to be fine!

(And, for the record, I've written this as much for myself as anyone else!)

i wanna do my masters in anesthesia and become a nurse in that. im gettin nervous as the days come near! i applied to UTHC and PVAMU. UTHC i knew that i was a no, i heard out of 1000 applicants they only interview 700 and is only accepting 80 out of them!.. i hope TWU isnt like that!

I want to know the answer to that question too. As far as i know... doesn't look at it. With Aggie's 3.85 and 79 score did not offer her a spot on the waitlist, i don't know what will. I think they just consider us for the traditional.

aggienurse is right, the more stressed we get about all this, the more random dumb thoughts will pop into our heads, and just watch in the end, God will be on our side and and and.. we will all be accepted!

Nhoward I do as well. I'm looking into being a CRNA. I really like the higher level of science that's involved and the autonomy would be great. I'm not the type that likes working for someone else. But I will see how I like the icu before making my decision. My other option is to be a neonatal nurse practitioner. I really fell in love with the NICU when my niece was born early

She didn't get in with a 3.85 and a 79??!! No way~

And i didn't get accepted to UTH either, my net score was too low

I'm with everyone else. Calling will just stir the pot. They keep giving us different answers so we might as well wait to see when letters come hopfully soon!!
