Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again

haha. my boyfriends sister has a boyfriend who had to take a drug test today actually and of course hes a weed head and he got somebody else to pee for him..and he gave it to the test person and she says this is not body temp, nor room temp. it was cold. ahahahahahahahaha
I'm actually very nervous since I live in Mesquite, TX and I still haven't received a letter. I'm guessing it might be a rejection. I have a 3.93 GPA and a 67 0r 68 NET. Either way when I read that a 4.0 was not accepted, that kind of made me a little bit nervous. But to answer your questions, NO LETTER RECEIVED AS OF NOW. :banghead: I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow.
what the HELL! sorry moderators but i had to say it. you have a 3.93 and your NET should even be a FACTOR!!!!! have you caught up on the posts about what i was saying about the acceptance letters, and the waiting list. this is HORRRIBLE. twu needs to be sued. hahah

I just wanna know so that I can plan on QUITTING my darn job. I work for UPS as a P/T Supervisor for over 2 long years now. I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE!!!
This is the only school I have applied to and i ONLY want to go to the Dallas Campus. It's close to home and I won't have to worry about bills and the such while I'm in school. I've actually been able to save enough to pay off both years of nursing school without having to get any debt. YAY for me. Now I just gotta GET IN!!!
thats insane. i cant believe what is going on. especially the girl with the 4.0 and the 81 NET. how the hell did that happen. and you have a 3.9. i think they went as low as a 3.81 at Dallas. so there is no reason why you shouldnt have gotten accepted. give it until the end of this week. id check with whoever processed your application and make sure they have the correct GPA. when i talked to cheryl today she said the applications were mailed either thursday or friday of last week. she said the denial letters havent been mailed yet. so for someone in the dfw they should have gotten their letter monday. but another girl i believe it was christine got her letter today. so dont give up. if it doesnt come tomorrow then id call and ask whats up.
I will definitely do that. I'll wait until tomorrow and call them if it does not arrive. I don't see why it shouldn't arrive tomorrow. Anyhow, thanks for the advice. Hope is all we have left lol. :up:
i just think this is all so bizarre. im just going to keep praying. with the way things are going..thats all i can do. i hope enough ppl decline or fail their drug tests so i can get a spot, so umm if 30 of you are feeling lucky..go ahead..prettyladie will support you =) ill G L A D L Y take your spot. i wish they could have mailed all the letters out at one time, so i could have gotten one by now.
FutureCRNA I live in mesquite and got my letter on mon so I have no clue why you didn't get yours. Your stats are GREAT and they should have accepted you. If you don't get your letter by tomorrow you need to call. Like Prettyladie said make sure they have your right gpa. You didn't ignore any emails they sent you do you??
What kind of emt class is that? I mean are you getting your basic or intermediate certification? Because that would let me understand alot. EMT basic's in the state of texas don't read EKG's or intubate, so I'm thinking you're doing an intermediate program or something.
My emt class is emt basic. I have been goign just like a normal semester class. I started in Jan and will go till beginning of may. So it just goes towards 6hrs of college credit. It's only on tues thurs from 900 to 130. Then we do 4 clinicals on weekends throughout the semester.
