TWU Dallas Campus Spring 2016 applicants

Hi! I didn't see a thread for Spring of 2016 applicants, so I created one.

My stats are

3.71 GPA (finishing up micro right now so that could change)

Take the TEAS on August 8th

No preferences

I am pretty sure the TEAS test will make or break me.

All of the prerequisites have to be completed before January with the exception of the multicultural woman's study.

Hi covalle2020! Congratulations on your acceptance!!!

Is there a reason why they sent it so late? Did the TWU nursing department called for the term change, or were you the one who decided on it? The fact that they give out letters that late somehow gives me hope!

Good luck to everyone here and I hope we all get in somehow! I'm not sure when they start mailing letters, but I am betting on 2nd or 3rd week of October.

According to the facebook page notification of acceptance will be "by the second week in October". I believe you will get an email to your TWU email first then an actual letter.

Hi,

I applied to the spring 2016 semester for the Dallas campus. My stats are:

GPA: 3.93

TEAS V:

Reading 85.7%

Math 96.7%

Science 91.7%

English 93.3%

Overall 91.3%

No previous bachelor's

No TWU Bump

Pre-req GPA: 3.85

TEAS V: 88.7%

TWU Bump (34 TWU hours)

No previous Bachelor's

On the Houston thread an advisor told them "late this week or early next week" and usually responses go out on the same day for both. The waiting is killing me!

Does anyone know how many applied for the Dallas campus this semester and how many they are accepting? For Houston, there are 220 eligible applicants for 90 spots.

Wow that is a lot! Not sure on what the stats are for Dallas. I really hope they send letters next week. I got into Collin community college and their deadline for a response is Oct 16 (next friday). it'll be nice to hear from TWU before that date..
