Hello all!! Just wanted to start this feed for people apply for the August 2018 group to keep people posted on interviews and admissions! Hope everything is going great for everyone! :)
Hey there! Sorry I'm just getting back to you, it's been a few days since I've checked the posts on here. So, I had my interview on Monday and it went great! Yes, the phone/FaceTime interviews are really laid back compared to what I've heard about the in-person interviews. Most questions were about how have I prepared myself for CRNA school, where I work and my unit, and she went over what to expect from the program. I got the feeling that they really want you to comprehend the huge commitment you are about to make, not only financially, but the time you are going to have to put in. They want to know that you have done your research and you are just as committed to them as they are to you. The interview lasted around 15 minutes, and at the end I was offered a spot! She did also make sure to say that these interviews are the exception and not the rule, and that if I were in communication with other applicants to let them know not to be discouraged. Interviews go all the way through to January!
Hey All,
I also applied to Texas Wesleyan with Baylor, UTSW, and JPS as my clinical sites. I have not received anything as of right now. I am getting very very amxious over here. I hate not knowing. I just called in to inquire and (without asking who I am) she said that they sent out some replies but that the bulk of interviews will be in January. Anyone else hear or have any advice?
Has anyone had an IN PERSON interview yet? I am super jealous of the FaceTime interviews that are so casual. I'm sweating bullets and studying my heart out...and convinced that I am going to get the first clinical question WRONG. Two weeks to go to interview day and I am excited/nervous. Anyone else with me?

Wonder if you guys have any insight on how location assignments work. If you were to pick a very competitive location by purpose or happenstance and you don't get chosen for an interview but maybe would have if you had chosen a less popular location as a first choice instead, do you think you would get any type of preference or do you go to the bottom? Sounds like many of us have said that we would travel anywhere, do you think they fill those sights with whomever chose those first and just fill any potential empty slots with others?
Hope this question makes any type of sense. HAHA
Thanks
