  1. Hey Golf325, Thanks! I was offered a spot at JPS in Fort Worth. I'm so excited, as JPS was my first choice! Have you had your phone interview yet? Which sites did you apply for in DFW?
  2. Hey there! Sorry I'm just getting back to you, it's been a few days since I've checked the posts on here. So, I had my interview on Monday and it went great! Yes, the phone/FaceTime interviews are really laid back compared to what I've heard about the in-person interviews. Most questions were about how have I prepared myself for CRNA school, where I work and my unit, and she went over what to expect from the program. I got the feeling that they really want you to comprehend the huge commitment you are about to make, not only financially, but the time you are going to have to put in. They want to know that you have done your research and you are just as committed to them as they are to you. The interview lasted around 15 minutes, and at the end I was offered a spot! She did also make sure to say that these interviews are the exception and not the rule, and that if I were in communication with other applicants to let them know not to be discouraged. Interviews go all the way through to January!
  3. Hello all! So exciting to see that so many are starting to get their notifications! I received an email on Monday for a Skype, FaceTime, or phone interview. I chose FaceTime and the interview has been scheduled for Monday the 30th at 10 am. The email didn't specify what location I'll be interviewing for, but I applied to all DFW sites so I'm assuming (and hoping) that I will be interviewing for a DFW location. I noticed that there were a few people on here that have already had phone interviews, and from what I read they seemed to be pretty laid back. I'm so extremely nervous, so I'm hoping my FaceTime interview will be casual and laid back as well as I've heard the face-to-face interviews can be pretty intense. To those who have not received any type of notification, I know that it's hard not to worry/stress but don't loose hope! A friend of mine that is currently in the program did not receive her interview email until the week of Thanksgiving and did not actually interview until January. So, there is still plenty of time! Good luck to you all!
