I just got an acceptance letter to Harlingen clinical site valley baptist

Yeah I wasn't in a group just curious if anyone knew reasoning. Our group was asked quite a bit of in depth clinical questions related to our specialty. I applied for Dallas sites but did say I was open to other states

Was anyone interviewed one on one rather than group interview? I was in a group just curious of why one over the other

Waiting is very hard. It prob will be quite some time before we know anything. However I think the date to respond with accepting a position is the 23rd so maybe a possibility if someone doesn't accept their spot. We shall see. It's hard waiting but all things happen for a reason. Good luck everyone and congrats to those who were accepted

lol that's pretty funny I was thinking the same. Yeah I heard one or two got in last year off the waitlist. Well I suppose it's better than a no lol. I was waitlisted for LSU as well and waiting to hear back from Texas Wesleyan. I'm from Texas but was looking at areas I would like to live. I think I underestimated the gre, if I don't get in it's something I def need to focus on for next year

60 were interviewed and only 15 selected so a fraction of that are selected as back up or waitlist. So my best guess is between 5-10 at most. That's what I have gathered from most programs

I believe it's somewhere in the 5 range. And yeah I just got the email a bit ago

Sorry kish i know the exact feeling. One of my good friends told me it took him 3 years then a waitlist to finally get into med school he graduated with honors and got an ortho surgery residency as which was his top pick. It can be discouraging but hang in there! It will pay off

I haven't heard anything back yet. Idk if that's a good or bad sign.
